One of the few things I can thank my mother for is my love of Gone With The Wind.

  1. Gone With the Wind memory: The first time I saw any of this movie, my mother and aunt were watching it (I was about 7)and I snuck up and poked my head around the corner to see what they were watching. It was THE burning of Atlanta scene. I was a gonner.

  2. Mother had the 2 tape deluxe set with trivia and I was in heaven. It was my first movie with Intermission-- silly me thought all movies should have this lovely civilized respite.

  3. GWTW Memory: I was in the 4th grade (10 years old) and we started studying the Civil War. My mom came to me and said "Finally!! I have a movie you will love about the Civil War" I was a gonner by the opening scene... Scarlett was so pretty and she had so many boys loving her...Hello lifetime idol :-)
